Assignment on economics in the news –

Students must find an article describing something happening nationally or internationally regarding economics.  This topic can be anything from taxes to supply and demand issues; but it must relate to economics.  After finding this article, read it, and add a comment to this blog. (Directions below)  You must include the title and author of their article, a five-sentence summary of their article, two sentences on how it relates to economics, and their opinion on the issue written in three sentences(do you agree/disagree with it, can this problem be solved?, how does this issue affect you?). This assignment is due November 16th (Monday).

This week we are beginning the Unit on the Middle East. Usually we teach Europe after Asia, but decided to do the Middle East at this point in time because of all that is going on there!
